Founder of Holon Insights | USPS Workflow Strategist | Author of the Holon Series

Lori Joyner-Swetlin is a nationally recognized expert in USPS systems, AI-enhanced postal optimization, and data-driven workflow design. With decades of experience shaping innovation at industry giants like Pitney Bowes, Bluecrest and GrayHair Software, Lori has reimagined how organizations use the mailstream—from certified return receipts to election ballot tracking. She has advised Fortune 500 companies, developed enterprise-level mailing intelligence platforms, and helped redefine how data flows from inbox to output. As the founder of Holon Insights and the author of the Holon book series, she brings together a unique blend of systems thinking, field-tested process optimization, and practical consulting that helps companies save millions while working smarter.

The idea behind Holon Theory took root when Lori was a student at Bowling Green State University, where a Latin root word from class—holos, meaning “whole”—intersected with a logic lesson about things being both parts and wholes at once. This single insight sparked a lifelong fascination with systems. From that moment, she began seeing everything—workflows, teams, even small towns—as living ecosystems of interdependent parts. Over the years, Lori applied this thinking to business process design, postal technology, and community building—including founding the Atwood Lake Community Development Corporation. Now through Holon Insights, she helps clients build mini-holons—modular units of work—that flow, adapt, and evolve into seamless, resilient systems that achieve greater impact with less waste.
